Hello! My name is Mrs. Smith and I teach second grade. I have been working at WES for 24 years. My husband and I have lived in New Egypt for 30 years. My 2 grown sons also attended school here. New Egypt is my town and your children are an important part of my life here. I look forward to working together to help each and every one reach their potential. See you around town!!
Welcome to our new second grade students!! This Fall, we have many new and exciting things planned for 2nd grade! We are excited about our Math program, Everyday Math. This Fall we will be learning about Constitution Day, Apples, Columbus Day, Insects, Pilgrims, just to name a few.
You should have received my welcome letter. Please bring your letter to me on the first day of school. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Monday: Math, Spelling: 3 times each, begin Weekly News
Tues: Math, Spelling :ABC order, finish Weekly News
Wed: Math, Spelling Sentences, begin Book Log.
Thurs: Math, Study for Spelling, finish your Book Log, and Poem worksheet.
*Please note: Projects may be assigned throughout the year.
